Magic

Some people believe in Magic, but magic isn’t real. Okay the devil uses magic but the magic you see on TV is fake. Really fake.

Misjudged?

Some people may have misjudged you because of the way you look. I will use tarantulas as an example. People think tarantulas are horrible creatures but they are now popular in America. This says a lot!

A day like no other

Gwen woke up happy because today was her birthday and she was now thirteen. Gwen thought it was going to be the best day of her life. She got ready and ran downstairs for breakfast. She hoped breakfast would be pancakes but when she got downstairs all she saw was a note from her mother that said ‘Had to go to work early, see you later.’ All she had to eat was cereal.

Gwen went to school feeling a bit sad. She wanted to talk to her best friend, Amanda but when Gwen got to her Amanda just said she was busy and went over to a group of people.

After school Gwen went looking for Amanda but her friend had left early. So Gwen was left alone, she walked home slowly thinking that everyone had forgotten her birthday. When Gwen got home the living room was dark and when she turned on the lights, a crowd was in her living room.Screaming 'Happy Birthday!' 
Amanda explained that they had been avoiding her because they were planning a party for her birthday.

“This is my best day ever!” Gwen said, hugging her mum and her best friend
